If you suspect that you have mold in your home or
business, you should have your habitat professionally investigated by MIB ASAP.
Board Certified Professional inspection and Certified Laboratory testing is the
only way to determine the approximate extent of the microbial concern in your
environment. A subsequent remedial plan can assure the sight is properly and
efficiently cleaned of the concern. Don't live life in misery when you can do
something about it NOW!
Our sister company,
1st Response Remediation LLC, gives us the experience of 30 years in the
insurance claim restoration business as it relates to the cleaning, drying, and
re-building of homes and businesses damaged by Fire, Water, Wind and MOLD. This
knowledge is not possessed by most Industrial Hygienists or other mold
investigation firms. It allows us the unique ability to understand how water
travels in a building and how structure is affected by water intrusion and
microbial growth. We can provide accurate remediation oversight as well as
remediation as a result of these capabilities.
The Founder & President of MIB, Mr. Dominick Paglia, is a board certified
microbial investigator (CMI) as well as a certified mold remediator (CMR). He
currently sits as a respected member of the board of advisors for the New Jersey
Trenton Chapter of the Indoor Air Quality Association (IAQA)
www.iaqa.org of which unified with the American Indoor Air Quality Council (AmIAQ)
www.iaqcouncil.org and the Indoor Environmental Standards Association (IESO)
www.iestandards.org. Mr. Paglia holds certifications with each of these
groups.
In response to concerns for remediators that also do their own consulting and
testing Mr. Paglia feels caution should be exercised when choosing a firm that
provides both services for the same project. MIB does not as a rule provide
remediation on sites we investigate even though we have this capability with our
1st Response Remediation sister company. However when it makes sense to use our
trusted remedial services to solve your concerns we will recommend a highly
respected non-biased Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) or CMI to provided for
the post remediation testing and site clearance so there is no conflict of
interest. We can also recommend other qualified remediation firms (CMR's) to
handle the remediation, if you like, and limit our involvement to testing,
consulting and oversight of the project.
We provide post remediation testing and written reports for your home or site
after the remediation has been completed to assure the work was performed
properly.
